What was the highlight of Can Picafort Palace

Affordable holiday for families with children, with a good price/performance ratio

The food was amazing, with wide selection and enough many glutenfree options especially for dinner. The children appreciated wide selection of desserts and fruits. The pools were nice, we especially appreciated the indoor pool. There was a lot of entertainment scheduled for children daily, and the Halloween party was a real spectacle. The hotel rents bikes for a minor fee. One can also make laundry there (or there is a modern laundromat close-by. There is a free parking available, and a bus stop just in front of the hotel, with direct connection to Palma (in summer season even the airport), Alcudia and elsewhere. There is an Aldi and a Mercadona close by. The kitchenette was sufficiently equiped. The surroundings of Picafort invite for strolls in the dunes along the coastline (one can take the bus few kilometres south or north and then go just one-way along the coast - especially the trek from Son Serra de Marina is breathtaking). The Albufera natural park is close by and a must for birdwatchers. The beach is close and even though it is narrow, it is shallow and well suited for children.

The wifi connection is paid extra and is weak, which is a bummer if you need to do any work. Drinks are paid extra in lunchtime and dinner, which is bothersome. Also, the tapwater in the hotel is not drinkable and is not provided by the hotel, so one must buy it extra.

Beds were very comfortables. There was good variety and quality of food. Entertainers were very polite.

Dishes in food were not always very clean. Room was too noisy sometimes because of the music from the pool. Beer run out 1 hour before bar closes.

The hotel looks very nice. Check-in was earlier without any problems. It is close to bus stop and shops. Very nice animations activities even in end of October.

There was cold water in outdoor pools and whirpool, so it is very uncomfortable in autumn time. We could not use our kitchen in the room properly (an electric cooker was unable to boil water). The stuff of the hotel was not able to talk about some tips where to go, what to see, just told to look at google. Unfortunatelly there is wifi for free just for an hour for the device per day.

Wonderful

We were happy with all the services and the accomodation itself.

The only thing we were quite disappointed with were sandwitches for lunch. We had all-inclusive, but we often travel around and take lunch to go. But the sandwitches could have been much better for the hotel of this quality.

It was fine

I like the location because it is 2mins away from the bus stop, there are different shops around and it is not too far from the beach. Among other things, the children enjoyed the breakfast and dinner as there were loads of food/cereal varieties to choose from. The environment is really family friendly and there are several activities to engage in e.g Table tennis, Snooker, volleyball, Gym etc.

There is no free Wifi and the internet connection is not strong on my block (block 3).

What was the highlight of Can Picafort Palace

Very welcoming all inclusive experience at a very reasonable price.

We booked an apartment with all inclusive service with large discount (2300 euros, 13 night, 2 kids, 2 adult), making it very nicely priced stay! The apartment was spacious, modern, clean and quiet, with a nice balcony that easily could fit our family of 4. The bedroom was sufficiently large to also comfortably accommodate our 2 kids sleeping in cribs (1 and 3 years old). But it could also easily fit 1 or 2 additional mattresses (from the sleeping couches) on the floor, if you prefer that over sleeping in the living room. Room was cleaned daily and was kept in very good condition. The hotel is well located at a 5 minute walk from the beach, with sufficient free parking space nearby. There are plenty of authentic small villages and other things to see within a short driving distance. The all inclusive food was plenty and with sufficient variation, with a lot of fresh fruit and a very nice salad bar during all meals. Quality of the food was variable, and did not always match our personal preferences. A big bravo for the staff in the dining room, they were an absolute joy and made us and our kids feel extremely welcome. They really made us feel like arriving “home” every time we entered the room. Special thanks to Maria, Sara, David and Alejandra for their friendliness and sincere attention for our kids.

If you really want to cook, the kitchen is a bit poorly equipped. The all inclusive food was not always our flavour preference, but there was always plenty of choice. The large amounts of food and choice could be overwhelming and it worries us to think about how much food probably goes to waste. We chose to eat outdoors very often, as Mallorca has so much nice food experiences to offer, outside of the hotel doors. Some salty snacks / raw veggies / fruit during the afternoon would be nice, instead of only cake and ice. We Pool felt cold in September, the see was far more comfortable!

Close to beach and other amenities. Nice and spacious apartments with good spa facilities

Strong smell of chlorine and inconsistent house keeping would knock on the door early in the mornings and wouldn’t always provide fresh towels, toilet paper or clean the place

Nice hotel, pleasant people at the reception, own kitchen in the apartment, bus stop near the hotel, close to the beautiful sea.

It was very good. Could’ve been perfect, minor details

Breakfast, location, bed was comfortable, good balcony, nice pools and spa, modern and very nice space on the apartment

The kitchen wasn’t very well equipped. We didn’t have some basics to cook like salt and olive oil, neither detergent and a sponge to wash the dishes since there was no washing machine.

Appartment was very clean, if in need of some refreshing. Pool was nice, ten minute walk to the beach. Reasonably priced bar.

The water is not drinkable. It was the first time I was obligated to buy bottled water. You get 1 free hour of wifi a day but the network doesn't extend much past the lobby and not at all in our room.

Big balcony, spacious double-room apartment, elevator, the backyard with bar, pools, sunbeds, billiard and a lot of plants and trees

Wifi is free... only for 1 hour a day. Then there's some fees, we didn't fancy that.

1.Location is good, few minutes walking distance from the beach, where lots of restaurants located. Several groceries stores (Mercadona, Lidl) just a few minutes away, and couple of small fruit shops around too. Have a parking lot on the premises, however you won't always get empty spot over there, especially towards the evening, but there are lots of free of charge parking spots around the hotel. 2. Rooms and bathroom are good, have a small kitchen with two hotplates, toaster, electric kettle and fridge. Good enough to fix up a small breakfast or snacks. 3. Self service laundry is available in shops area during working hours, cards are accepted.

1.Even though paid WiFi claimed to be of a high speed, in fact connection was weak and unstable, on the bright side staff handled it very well and refunded the money. 2. Beds are separate and kept on splitting apart, it would be prudent to have some sort of connecting link, that will hold them together temporarily, when needed.
